I've crafted this 'Life Is Sweet' 4 night retreat to picturesque Santorini to fill you to the brim with an abundance of space, lightness and sunshine and help clear through some of the clutter and heaviness busy life at home can accumulate. I truly believe that just a little time away to unplug and unwind surrounded by breathtaking natural surroundings with a group of good souls can be complete medicine for the soul!

Our meditation and breathing practices will help to cultivate presence, the yoga classes twice a day will be embodied and encourage deep connection to feeling and appreciating the magic of your body and the food will be healthy and plant-based, nourishing you from the inside out.

We'll also have plenty of time for relaxing, laughing and exploring this incredible island together, remembering how sweet this life truly is.

THE WINERY ESTATE 

Santorini is famous for it's photogenic cliffside blue and white towns, but we've found a countryside oasis just outside of the village of Megalohori overlooking local vineyards, family churches and stunning views of the ancient windmills of Vlychada and the Aegean Sea. 

The villa has a large (40sqm) private pool and and 4 private terraces for sunbathing, dining and perfect for yoga classes.

There is even a covered area for sunset classes when we need a little shade. The villa only accommodates a total of 12, meaning this retreat will be small and friendly with space for just 10 guests.

WHAT HAPPENS ON RETREAT?

I will be bringing together my years of teaching experience and many various trainings and influences to craft a week of yoga classes which will help to clear physical and mental space, connect you to the rich energy which lives within the deepest wisdom of your body and leave you feeling thoroughly revitalised, strong and free.

There will be mindful but dynamic vinyasa practices in the mornings, and slow restorative yin in the evenings.

You do not have to be experienced in yoga to come on retreat, in fact this is a great place to learn, develop and deepen your practice.

 

 

THE FOOD

All of your meals are included in the price of the retreat, and the food will be hearty and fulfilling but at the same time there will be an emphasis on creating meals which make you feel happy, healthy and refreshed. Jeanie will be making meals to support the activity of the yoga but also treat your taste buds and tummy as you are on holiday after all :)

Ingredients will all be locally sourced and we'll be making use of as much of the fresh fruits and vegetables from the island as possible.

Meals will predominantly be plant-based, mostly gluten-free (with options of bread if wanted) and vegetarian. There will be options of eggs with breakfast and cheese with some meals, however if you are vegan then this is no problem, just let us know before hand. On one evening there will also be a fish option.

EXCURSIONS & LOCAL AREA

You are welcome to stay at the villa and relax by the pool the whole week, however this is a chance to see the gorgeous Greek island of Santorini, so explorations will be lead to the beaches (where hopefully we will hold one of our evening yin sessions), around the picture perfect blue and white towns and to the hills where we’ll finish the week with a dinner at a fine restaurant with breathtaking views over the island.

Of course you are free to explore as you please, but we will arrange transport for at least 2 group trips, included in the price of the retreat. Other trips you wish to take will not be included in the price, but we can help to arrange taxis for you.

RETREAT SCHEDULE

Everything is very relaxed so of course if you want a long lie in or more time to sunbathe then all yoga and activities are optional. This is a rough guideline of what to expect:

7am - Optional run, then fruit and coffee available all morning

8am - Optional morning meditation

8.30am - 75 min Morning dynamic Vinyasa Practice

10am - Brunch

11am - Time to relax / Excursion to town / Walk to beach

2pm - Light buffet lunch

4.30pm - 90 min hour Yoga Workshop / Excursion to town / Walk to beach

6.30pm - Smoothies and snacks

7.30pm - 1 hour Yin yoga practice

8.30pm - Dinner


ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

As this is a small retreat with just a total of 4 bedrooms for guests, each slightly different in terms of space and bed options, we are opening up a few choices for your accommodation with a range of prices...

BEDROOM ONE

Bedroom one is a double room shared between 2 people.

This bedroom has it's own en-suite bathroom.

If you would like the whole room as single occupancy (not shared) then please send me an email as there will be an additional cost for this.

£750 per person (early bird)

BEDROOM TWO

Bedroom two is another en-suite option with it's own private bathroom, this time with twin single beds.

This bedroom opens out on to the sunny terrace outside.

BEDROOM THREE

Bedroom three is another double bedroom to be shared between 2 people. 

The guests in this room will share the main bathroom of the house.

BEDROOM FOUR

Bedroom three is shared between 4 people, with 2 single beds and 1 double bed and a shared bathroom (as above).

If you would like to come on the retreat by yourself then being in a shared room is a lovely way to make friends. Or, if you are coming with a group of friends then this room is perfect for sharing together.

£650 per person (early bird) / £750 per person (After 1st April)

 

 

 

BEDROOM FIVE

Bedroom five is the most luxury option of all of the rooms, as this is a separate suite - a self-contained cavern house accommodating two people, with bathroom, kitchenette, a dining terrace, and it's own entrance off the pool terrace.

£850 per person (early bird) / £950 (after 1st April)

ALL INCLUDED

All of this is included in the price of the retreat:

4 nights accommodation at luxury The Winery Estate, Santorini - a gorgeous greek villa including swimming pool and terraces set within its own secluded grounds

6 yoga classes taught by Suzie - Vinyasa in the mornings and Yin Yoga in the evenings

2 yoga workshops

A big hearty, healthy brunch everyday

Light buffet lunch 

Healthy three course vegetarian dinners each evening, with option of having fish included

Sunset drinks and dinner out on the final night at a fine dining restaurant with Panoramic views over Santorini 

Excursions to towns and beach

All Santorini ground transport to and from airport

Not included:

Flights, which at the moment are under £300 return, flying direct from London

Cavern House Suite: £850 per person  (early bird / £950 after 1st April) for 2 people sharing a separate suite, the self-contained cavern house accommodating with bathroom, kitchenette, a dining terrace, and it's own entrance off the pool terrace (2 spaces)
