FREE CLASS WITH LULULEMON COVENT GARDEN
A mandala of any kind always begins with a simple circle. From there, through a series of movements, shapes and explorations an expanding balanced mandala structure grows, much like the petals of a flower, symbolising unity and harmony. What better way to celebrate Mothers Day than to bring the whole room together as beautiful blooming flowers!
Suzie Hunter-Smith will take you through a mandala yoga class - which is a flowing sequence where we travel 360 degrees around the mat, exploring the body beyond the linear ‘forwards and backwards’ constraints you might be used to. Honouring the universal spirals which occur throughout nature and within our own physical bodies, this slow and mindful mandala flow class will feel therapeutic and meditative for body and mind. After class, we’ll continue this moving meditation as Suzie shares her passion for drawing and creating through a short mandala drawing exercise - as together create a huge bunch of mandala ‘flowers’ for this special Mother’s Day Class!
Suzie teaches what she knows and loves: a creative and transformative yoga practice which draws together the 500+ hours of training and many influences she has explored over the years: including vinyasa flow, mandala, yin yoga, Qi Gong and Thai massage.
Expect to leave her classes breathing deeply and feeling strong and spacious in both body and mind.
